TYKORA

Save together. Win together.

TYKORA is a prize-linked savings vault on Rootstock designed to make saving in DOC & USDRIF simple, transparent, and verifiable. Users deposit DOC or USDRIF, receive non-transferable vault shares, and participate in deterministic draws anchored to Bitcoin-derived randomness.

What is TYKORA?

A prize-linked savings protocol on Rootstock.

Users deposit DOC or USDRIF into a vault and receive shares representing their position. Shares are non-transferable (mint/burn only), keeping accounting and ticketing direct and auditable. A yield strategy deploys DOC & USDRIF into Tropykus (money market) to generate interest. Your principal remains represented by your vault shares, while generated yield funds the prize pool. At draw close, yield (minus protocol fees) becomes the prize pool, distributed across three distinct winners.

Capital preservation first
Depositors keep a share-based claim on the vault’s underlying. Withdrawals are available when the vault is unlocked.
Verifiable draws
Winner selection is deterministic and anchored to a Bitcoin-referenced seed via Rootstock’s BTC header source.
Simple UX
Connect → approve/deposit → optionally withdraw → prizes are settled automatically by the keeper.
TYKORA Overview

How it works

Minimal actions, deterministic lifecycle, verifiable outcomes.

Connect

Connect an EVM wallet configured for Rootstock and view draw status, prize, and your share balance.

Approve & Deposit

Approve DOC/USDRIF spending and deposit into the vault. Shares are minted 1:1 with your DOC or USDRIF deposit.

Withdraw

Withdrawals burn shares 1:1 and return underlying DOC/USDRIF when the vault is unlocked (withdrawals are disabled while locked).

Settlement (keeper)

An incentivized keeper closes the draw, awards winners, and executes distribution. Prizes are distributed automatically to the winners’ wallets.

Protocol Mechanics

Draw lifecycle

The vault runs in deterministic cycles with a clear state machine:

OPEN CLOSED AWARDED CLAIMED

  • OPEN: deposits accepted; yield accrues via strategy.
  • CLOSED: yield is computed; vault may lock for award/claim window.
  • AWARDED: winners are selected using BTC-anchored deterministic seed.
  • CLAIMED: prizes and fees are executed; vault unlocks and a new draw begins.

Yield strategy: Tropykus

During the OPEN phase, deposited DOC or USDRIF is deployed into Tropykus to earn interest. This is handled by a dedicated strategy component that can deposit and redeem as needed.

High-level flow
  • Users deposit DOC/USDRIF → vault mints shares (1:1).
  • Strategy supplies DOC/USDRIF into Tropykus → interest accrues.
  • At CLOSE/AWARD, strategy redeems as required → yield is computed.
  • Net yield funds prizes; principal remains withdrawable when unlocked.
Note: Interest rates, liquidity, and protocol conditions may vary over time.

Economics

At draw close, the protocol computes yield from total assets vs total principal. From yield:

  • Treasury fee (bps)
  • Keeper tip (bps) to incentivize timely execution
  • Prize pool = yield − fees
3-winner split (fixed):
Winner #1 • 50% Winner #2 • 30% Winner #3 • 20%
Draws run only when there are at least three distinct participating wallets.

BTC-anchored randomness

When a draw is closed, the vault fixes a future Bitcoin target height (best height + confirmations). Once available, it fetches that BTC header via the Rootstock bridge, derives a seed, and selects winners deterministically.

Seed derivation
BTC header → double-SHA256 → combine with vault address & drawId → keccak256 seed.
Weighted tickets
Tickets are proportional to shares. Selection resolves weighted picks and ensures three distinct winners.
Transparency & verification

TYKORA is designed so anyone can verify draw transitions, yield/fee/prize accounting, BTC target height and derived seed, winner addresses and prize split, and claim execution outcomes on-chain. The UI is optional — critical parameters are emitted by contracts.
